Player's Name: Karra
Characters Played Here: My 9000000.
Character: Chris Perry Halliwell
Series/Canon: Charmed
From When? During Chris-Crossed.
History: Wiki
Personality:

Chris is friendly and funny, but traumatized and paranoid from how he grew up. Because of his father, his brother and the death of his mother as he has a slew of abandonment, middle child and neglect issues. Because Wyatt is supposed to be the most powerful child in the entire universe, their father tended to favor his attention on Wyatt over Chris, trying to ensure that he would wield whatever powers he had with responsibility.

This caused Chris to feel neglected by his father, which only worsened when Piper Halliwell was killed when Wyatt was 15 and Chris was 14. Leo had all the time in the world to spend on Wyatt and the rest of the world in his role as elder, but according to Chris this did not extend to himself. In his own words, Leo "didn't know him", and barely cared for him.

Luckily, at least until Wyatt turned darkside, his grandfather and aunts picked up the slack and for the most part these feelings of neglect didn't affect him to the point of turning towards dark magic. Unfortunately, this and the death of their mother did affect Wyatt, who chose to believe that Leo and the rest of the elders had failed the world and the Charmed Ones. Eventually, Wyatt used his powers for evil.

And Chris blamed himself. So he has a bit of that sort of complex as well. He took it upon himself to fix things, consorting with anyone who had any sort of knowledge of what other things pushed Wyatt towards the path of evil. He gained contacts in the underworld, with demons, assassins, dark and light witches. He became a member of the resistance against his own brother to try and save him. And the world.

When it comes to opening up to his family, Chris can be very tight-lipped and secretive, only telling them things when it's become clear that it's nearly too late for him to completely fix something on his own. And even then, it's difficult to get it out of him. Strangely, this doesn't really apply to people he's not related to. He makes friends easily, though he's careful who he works with. He's also adaptive to his surroundings or manipulations to his own abilities.

Why do you think your character would work in this setting?

There are a lot of supernatural creatures, witches, etc in town and Chris is half-whitelighter. He'll fit in in helping work on magic-things, protecting witches, etc, etc.

How do you plan to expand their CR?

He's friendly-ish, and "the powers that be" tend to assign him "charges", so that'll help as well. He'll also be trying to find ways to keep Wyatt from going evil when he gets back 'home'.

What will your character do for work?
He'll re-open the apothecary.

Inventory:

Some spells written in a notebook on his person, a few potions. Nothing else, because he fluxed in.

Finding a book that he could use to create a new and rudimentary 'copy' of the book of shadows was actually not as difficult as he thought it would be. There were plenty of blank books in the abandoned apothecary, there were even inks and potions. Of course, it would take a while to fill the book with the proper spells, but there didn't seem to be any sort of hurry to do that, beyond a few protection spells he could cast around the town.

Then again, if the network was to be believed, this town was almost constantly under some sort of magical curse, invasion or attack. What a time to be the only whitelighter, and only half of one at that.

At least there didn't appear to be any elders here. And he could use this time to plan more, especially if what they said was true and he could go back to exactly when he'd 'left'. He could go over everything he'd done back home, see where he'd gone wrong. Maybe he could even figure out a way to stop or help his brother here.

He hoped. It was worth a shot, wasn't it? After all, this place was all about second chances, and he could use a second chance. Or maybe this would count as his third chance.

God knew he needed all the help he could get.
